In my attempt to overcome a "fetch and rebase required" battle, I tried
ignorantly to try to rebase from origin/master onto origin/vmm-refcnt
and after it applies some commits and says:

Switching work tree to refs/remotes/origin/vmm-refcnt
got: bad reference name

I'm now in a "got: a rebose operation is in progress state" yet if I `got
rebase -a` I get a "got: reference refs/...comit-... not found".

Is this a bug and/or am I really bad at got :-)
