Hi Simon.

Could you describe the idea of your project? I understand the summary:

        Version control for single files

but I don't understand the use case and in general what problem are you
solving. I'm asking because I am looking for dotfiles management tool,
and I'm not sure does your tool fit the bill. I'm eager to test it, but
I would need to understand it a bit better how do you envision the usage
day to day. I'm not talking about tool syntax, but the workflow, the
high level approach.

If I can give you a feedback, that's what I was looking for on the
https://codeberg.org/simonh/vc but the dry manual-like README didn't
help.
