I very much appreciate this. There have been a few requests by people for a version that runs on MacOS and it is nice to see that it is available in macports for easy installation. > Attached is a diff with a couple of proposed changes to > https://gameoftrees.org/portable.html which reflect the availability of the > MacPorts version. I see two issues with this patch. I don't want to link to apple.com/macos from gameoftrees.org as it could be interpreted as an endorsement. We have more than enough advertisement for corporations on our planet already, and the non-profit ISP which hosts our site has a strict non-commercial policy (unclear if it extends to such links, but there is no reason to try and test their limits of tolerance; this whole ISP is run by volunteers in their spare time). Second, adding a link to macports in the separate ports section is wrong in context because those separate ports are not using got-portable as their base. Rather, they are based on the OpenBSD version of got. Regardless, I believe it would be a good idea to link to the page of your macports package. There are other systems as well that have packaged got-portable, visible here: https://repology.org/project/got-game-of-trees/information Perhaps we should add a section to portable.html which points people to pre-built packages, to save them the effort of compiling from source?
